trans-men and lesbians, it’s okay to date each other! dating a trans-man doesn’t make you not a lesbian. dating a lesbian doesn’t make you not a man. only you can dictate your identity. who you date and/or fuck doesn’t dictate that. someone else’s identity doesn’t dictate your own. no one but you has that power. other people will always try, of course, but you reserve the right to put them in their place!
NOTE: i should have said this in the video, and i’m sorry i didn’t. LESBIANS AND TRANS-MEN ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. there indeed are trans-men who identify as lesbians. there are trans-men who don’t entirely identify as men (myself included). i’m sorry to the people this offends, but you seriously don’t get to go around dictating who people can consensually fuck and/or date.(submitted by iragray)
